I was the first person to demonstrate that chronic musculoskeletal pain, foot to jaw, can be eliminated, not just managed.

This research was part of a series of discoveries that ultimately led to a therapy that, in many cases, permanently eliminates chronic musculoskeletal pain without the use of drugs or surgery.  This therapy is called Rothbart Proprioceptive Therapy, in which I use a series of tests, proprietary computer analyses, custom designed Rothbart Proprioceptive Insoles and ongoing monitoring to address all of the changes in the patients condition and necessary changes in prescriptions, until the chronic muscle and/or joint pain is eliminated.

Here is an excerpt from the article, "Medial column foot systems: An innovative tool for improving posture" published in the Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies (Rothbart, 2002), that supports this discovery:

"An innovative medial column foot system, designed to improve posture in patients with Rothbart's Foot Structure, is introduced.  This system [which incorporates the use of proprioceptive insoles] can visually reduce pelvic tilts (unleveled pelvis), shoulder protractions (rounded shoulders) and forward head positions. The drawn forward posture is reversed.

As the posture is improved, the strain on the muscles and joints are dramatically reduced.  This facilitates the attenuation (reduction) of muscle and joint inflammation; which in turn, dramatically reduces or eliminates the associated chronic musculoskeletal pain."
