Pressure Plate Analysis using Proprioceptive Insoles
I am the first researcher, using pressure plate analysis; to demonstrate the impact proprioceptive insoles has on muscle tonicity patterns in the Primus Metatarsus Supinatus (Rothbarts) Foot.
Here is an excerpt from my paper, "Tactile therapy shifts patients towards equilibrium", which ultimately led to the development of Rothbart Proprioceptive Therapy:
“Proprioceptive Stimulation – Pressure Plate Readings in the Primus Metatarsus Supinatus foot type
When the intensity of stimulation from the proprioceptive insoles are correct, Pressure Plate Readings willshift towards homeostasis:
- In Bracers: sA readings increase,mP readings decrease
In Releasers: sA readings decrease, mP readings increase
When the intensity of stimulation from the proprioceptive insoles are not correct, Pressure Plate Readings will shift away from homeostasis:
- In Bracers: sA readings may decrease, and/or mP readings may increase
In Releasers: sA readings may increase, and/or mP readings may decrease”
