Rothbart's Insoles and Orthotics are Totally Different in Design and Function
Orthotics that support the foot (e.g., with arch supports, heel and forefoot wedges) are very different in design compared to the Rothbart Proprioceptive Insole (See Photos 1-3 below):

- Rothbart’s Proprioceptive Insoles reverse postural distortions initiated by the Primus Metatarsus Supinatus (Rothbarts) foot. By reversing postural distortions, chronic musculoskeletal pain can be eliminated.
- Supportive type orthotics weaken the muscles of the foot and may have little or no impact on reversing postural distortions (Percy et al 2001). In fact, arch supports can actually result in overuse injuries within the feet (Robbins et al 1987) as well as other parts of the body (Fusco et al, 2007).
